Brazil’s
"beautiful team" of 1970 is widely regarded as the greatest football team of all time.
This legendary collection of players reached its peak in the World Cup Final victory over Italy at the Azteca Stadium, Mexico City.
In 2005 a team of UK journalists traveled to Brazil three times to collect together their signatures; a feat that had never been done before and was never to be repeated. See the story of their journeys here.
The result is a photo of the iconic team, lined up next to their opponents before that game, hand-signed by all 10 surviving members, together with their Manager, Mario Zagallo.
150 of these photos were signed to commemorate the biography of the team’s star, Pelé. A handful remain.
